    application Process

  • Must attend an orientation session on the first Monday of each month at 8:45 am. Applications will be given out. No admittance after 9:00 am.

  • Los Angeles County Barber & Cosmetologist Training Committee

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

  • You must have an Establishment Trainer (sponsor) with a valid Establishment License (please check dates on license). Sponsor must provide worker's compensation insurance for apprentice.

  • Completed paperwork to be returned on the 3rd Monday of each Month, at 9:00 am. Bring your security card and picture ID with current address.

  • Class instruction is in English. You must supply your own tools and uniform. Classes are two semester per year.
